New teaching job......

Hi everybody, This will be my last post for a long time.
Sarah (my sister) and I have been teaching. Sarah is more like the teacher and I'm the assistant. But, it's something.(:
We are teaching ages 3-6 English. We teach in the mornings of Tuesday and Thursdays, for an hour. We would do it more days, but we have Thai classes the rest of the days. (Monday, Wednesdays, and Friday) The kids are so adorable. I am so glad God put this new challenge in my life.(: It's getting late so I better stop talking and show you some pics.

Sarah teaching the song, I've got the joy....

Sarah and I split off half way in our lesson to teach them with there book. The rest of the time we teach them songs and do crafts.
Sarah teaches the youngests kids kindergarten.

Me teaching

This is my class. I teach first, second, and third grade. It doesn't take long to finish there book. So, we aren't teaching without one another very long.

One of my slower, but sweet, students. She is in second grade. All but 3 of my students are in second grade. 2 of them are in first. The other is in third.

Adorable little girl. Her name is Patty.

Eating their snack.

Please pray that all goes well. At the time we are unable to tell the kids about Jesus. We are hoping that when they get to know us better, we will be able to teach about Christ. Please also pray that we will have a good memory and remember the kids names.

Number 1#

Update number 1#
We got a dog! He is such a pretty dog. He is a 1 year old golden retriever that is named Thor (short for Theodore). I know strange name. The owners before him named him and raised him sins he was a pup. They are now going back to the States and are unable to take him a long. So they asked if we would like him for free. We of course said yes and now we have him. Here are some pics of him. I want to put better ones on but don't have time right now.

He is dirty in this pic.

He loves water so he was all wheat when I took this picture.

I need to go now.

Snake!!!!!!

Ok, so a lot of things happened in the past week, and I will tell you all of them in due time. But there is something scary, but kind of exciting, that just took place a couple of minutes ago. Ok this is the story.
I heard our dog, (I will tell you about how we got him in upcoming posts.) Thor, (His real name is Theodore but we all call him Thor. The owners before named him.) barking like crazy. I went in the back of the house to check out what was going on. I saw our dog, Thor, barking at a bush.  So I went to check it out. It was dark outside and I couldn't see what it was. I yelled for Zack, my little brother, to come and turn the lights on out back. When he turned them on I saw this huge snake. We yelled for my older brother and sister, Tyler and Sarah. Anyway, to make a long story short (Now this is when you say, "It’s too late for that." :) We got a shuffle and we killed it. We took it by the shuffle and dumped it into a bucket. When we got it in the bucket we had our neighbor  man come over to check out what kind of snake it was. He said, "its poisonous in case my eyes are deceiving me." We then saw that is was 2 snakes in the bucket. The one snake was eating the other. After that we chopped it's head off. We then looked up to see what kind of snake it was.  We found out that it is called a Banded Krait. They say it is very poisonous and could be deadly. We thank God nobody got hurt. For this snake was only a few feet from our house!!!

Thailand

Ok, Thailand is a lot of fun right now.We just went to a water fall you can walk right up it. We also went to a snake show. It was really cool. I will show all of you pics of it when we get it on our computer. We went to the waterfall and the snake show mostly to celebrate my 14th birthday. It was a lot of fun. We also just had our house dedication. (That's where a lot of people come to your house and pray over it.) That's pretty much what we did in the past few days. Most of last week was busy because of the house dedication. We had 100 people over and we made a meal for all of them. So we were busy getting our house ready for that. It was Sunday by the way. I need to get off so my sister, Sarah, can get the pics on the computer. At least some of them. Bye

P.S My older brother and Sister (Chad and Annie) just went on a 10 day trip to Bali. They left just a couple hours ago.

Please Pray.......

My sister Annie (She was the one her is staying at the hostile.) is really sick right now. She has been for over a week now. We just found out about it a couple of days ago.
Why didn't we know sooner?
Where she is staying (A hostel out in the country.) doesn't have very good phone service. So we didn't know for awhile.
Why is she sick?
The doctors thinks it's because her blood is so low.
How bad is she?
She has been sick for over a week. She had and has a high fever. My dad just took her to the hospital because she has a fever of 103. It is good Victoria (The the American girl that went with her at to the hostile.) was there with Annie because she said that at the hostile, Annie was a lot worse. Please keep my sister, Annie, in your prayers as she fights to recover. I will try to keep you updated.

Thailand

Ok so we got the papers for our house signed and we are now living in our house. Well, kind of. Ok so let me start from the beginning.
My sister, Annie, went to a hostel, that's where kids go to school and they sleep there and practically live there, with a friend of ours that also is an American, Victoria. The hostel is out in the country so it is really primitive. Anyway, my sister and her friend are staying there for six weeks. It's like ten hours, or something like that, out of the city. So we haven't seen them sins they left. So my parents decided to go out and visit them. They left soon after the papers were signed and they decided that me and Sarah (My sister.) should stay at the base so we would have something to do. (Sorry, I know I'm rambling. I'm almost done.) Because of this I haven't actually stayed in my house yet. Sarah and I will be sleeping in our new home tonight. Yay!
My parents came back last night but we still didn't sleep at our new house because we didn't have enough of beds yet. So we are getting more beds today.
What has the rest of my family been doing this week?
Parents - They were visiting my sister Annie. (They were gone for 2 days and 1 knight.)
My older brother Chad, who is 22 - He was living at the house and exploring the city.
My older sister Annie, who is 20 - She is and was, at the hostel taking care of kids.
My older brother Tyler, who is 18 - He was living at the house with my brother Chad also exploring the city.
My older sister Sarah, who is 15 - She was at the center with me staying with one of our friends. (Victoria's little sister was the girl we were staying with,.)
Me (I'm 13)
My younger brother Zachary, who is 11 - He was staying at a families house who he never met before going there.
And my younger sister Abigail, who is 6 - She went a long with my parents.
I need to go now.

Thailand

Hey everybody. Sorry about the long period of time with no posts. I have been really busy lately. We haven't found a house yet but we have narrowed it down to 4 houses. We are praying earnestly for God to show us the house he wants us to have.
We are still at the center. We have to move into a hotel aether tonight or tomorrow. We are praying that this will be our last week without a house. We thank God we were able to be at the center for so long.
In about 10 minuets my family and I will be going to see one more house that we saw pics of and a house that my parents saw. So I better go now. I will try to update all of you soon about what we found.

Thanks!

Thanks so much for praying for my family and I. It really helped. Let me tell you why I'm so happy. Just yesterday Shawn (A fun person that works here at GTO base.) said that we don't have to move into the hotel  We can stay here at GTO base. The reason we had to leave is because a team was coming in and they would need the rooms we are staying in right now, but Shawn said that they can sleep in a hotel instead. They are only staying for 2 nights so they wouldn't be here long. He said we could be here until the next team comes in. I'm not sure how long that is but we are hoping we will find a house before then. Thanks for the prayers you whispered in God's ear.

Hotel

Tonight we are moving to the hotel. It's just a short walk away from the center so we can  walk over dooring the day and play. My parents have been looking at houses all day today and yesterday. It's really hard to get a Thai house with a big kitchen and room for guess. The reason we are looking for a big kitchen is because my mom loves being in the kitchen, and we need room for guess because we plan to have a lot of people over while we are here in Thailand. I need to go now. Please pray that we find a house soon and that the hotel is nice.

Thailand

Another update!
We thought we would be at the hotel by now, but they had room at the center until Wednesday. Yay! We just got back from church and on our way home we stopped at a house that may become our new home. It's really cool. It has 3 bedrooms, so mom and dad would sleep in one, Girls would sleep in the other, and the boys would sleep in the last one. It has a large kitchen and dinning room which is a big plus. Most Thai houses have small kitchens and small dinning rooms. The down part about it is that it's a little far away from the college we plan to put the coffee shop.

I think this is one of the best months of the year because it's not unbearably hot, yet. It normally gets to 80 degrees.
We have a few banana trees in our back yard and we should be ale to cut them down soon. Yay! I love bananas and they have really good ones here. I need to go and finish unpacking now. (At least, clean up my room.) Bye.
